Ionia County News, 23 Jan 1964

Leo J. Pung, 58, of 326 Canal St., Portland, died Monday, December 27, in a 
Grand Rapids hospital.

Survivors include his widow, Bernita; two sons, Alex of Lansing and Roy of 
Leslie; four daughters, Mrs. Clare Cavendish of Miami, Florida, Mrs. Leonora 
McNary of Atwater, California, and Mrs. Monica Bailey and Mrs. Rosie Thomas, 
both of Portland; four brothers, Edward of Westphalia, Sylvester of Belding, 
Oscar of Toledo, Ohio, and Fr. Robert Pung of Rome, Italy; three sisters, Mrs. 
Dora Klein of Portland, Mrs. Rose Spitzley of Lansing and Sister Rosa Rita 
(Rosella) of Piqua, Ohio, and 15 grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, January 3, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patricks Church 
in Portland, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westphalia.  Rosary will be 
recited at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Neller Funeral Home.
