Judith J. Pung, age 72, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014.  She was born 
on December 19, 1941 in Lansing the daughter of Bret and Magdalene (Pohl) 
Strong. 

Judy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  She enjoyed bingo, playing 
cards, an occasional trip to the casino, traveling and loved to bake pies. 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years Richard Pung; 
sister-in-law, Jacqueline Strong and special friend, David Miles.  Surviving 
are her seven sons David (Maureen), Mark (Dianna), Philip, John (Debby), Paul, 
Michael (Tasha) and Jeffrey (Sara); 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 
brothers Stephen and James Strong; sisters Barbara Jean Struble, Gloria Hanson, 
Donna (Gary) Paquin, Agnes Krancich, Nancy (Tom Vemich) Strong and Mary (Jim) 
Lyon; numerous nieces and nephews. 

The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2014 
at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland with Rev. Larry King, presiding.  Rite 
of Committal will follow at North Eagle Cemetery.  The family will receive 
friends 5-8 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. 
Bridge St., Portland and one hour prior to the Mass on Wednesday at the 
church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Fr. Flohe Foundation in 
memory of Judy.
