Died Mon. August 10, 2020-age 88 Born in Portland October 3, 1931 son of Leon Sr. & Pauline (Gross) Pung. Tom was a Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church & K of C Council #2168. A veteran of U.S. Army serving as Corporal during Korean War. Worked at Fisher Body fr 39 years, retired in 1987. Tom enjoyed traveling, rides, gardening, hunting, fishing with brothers in the U.P., playing cards, golfing & mostly spending time with family. Preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Henry & Rose Fedewa; brothers, Donald, Leon Jr. & John Pung; brothers-in-law, Anthony Hradecky & Gerald (Kate) Fedewa; & sister-in-law, Germine (Fred) May. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, RoseMary (Fedewa) Pung; children, Steve (Kim) Pung, Diane (Brad) Sandborn, Mark (Sharon) Pung, & Lisa (Chris) Fedewa; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Bernie) Pung, Ann (Kerry) Kloeckner, Joan Hradecky, Richard (Ann) Pung & Ken (Carrie Pung; sister-in-laws, Barb (Dick) Trierweiler, Dorothy Pung & Kathy Pung; Fedewa in-laws, Joe (Alice) Fedewa & Kathleen Bengel; & several nieces & Nephews. Private Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church celebrated by Rev. Michael Alber. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. Military honors by V.F.W. Post #4090. The family thanks the staff at Portland Assisted Living & Memory Center, the Grace Hospice team, Fr. Mike Alber, Jim & Linda (niece) Spring,& Michelle Van Slambrouk. Donations may be made to Fr.
