The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, December 16, 1967
Albert N. Pung, 69, of 5421 Lookingglass, Portland died at St. Lawrence 
hospital in Lansing Thursday night.  He was born November 21, 1898 in 
Westphalia and was a retired Barley-Earhart employee where he had worked 25 
years.  He was a member of St. Patrick’s church and Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife Pauline; three brothers, Ernest and Herman of Portland 
and Richard of Westphalia; and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Carpenter of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic church 
in Portland with burial in Portland cemetery.  Rosary will be recited Sunday 
evening at 8 p.m. .at Neller funeral home in Portland.  Bearers will be Roger, 
Charles and Richard Pung, Jr., James West, Carl Hoppes and Dennis Fedewa.
