Brian Scott Purcey, 65, of Ionia, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011. He was 
born on Dec. 14, 1946 in Grand Rapids, the son of Martin and Elizabeth Purcey.

Brian enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and was a handyman type of guy, and 
greatly loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Carl and Ruth Purcey.

Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Carol Purcey; children, Danielle Vasquez, 
Jason (Lori) Purcey, Michael Purcey and Nikolas Purcey; nine grandchildren, 
with one also on the way; sister, Dixie (Maurice) Davis; brother, Dean S. 
Purcey; many friends and other family.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are 
entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
