Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1 Nov 1977

Keith A. Purdy, 62, a former Orleans resident, died unexpectedly from a heart attack
while vacationing in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Born in Orleans, June 24, 1915, he was the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Purdy and attended Belding high school.  He married his
wife Gayla, who survives, and in recent years made their home in Houston, Texas.  He
was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving is his wife; his mother; two brothers, Oren of Alma and E. Wilson Purdy of
Miami; three sisters, Mrs. Ila Bacon of Jackson, Mrs. John Allen of Belding and Mrs.
Alleen Schrock of Grayling.  His father preceded him in death in 1961.

No funeral service is planned.
