Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Aug 1933

Dell Purdy, 77, a lifelong resident of Otisco township, died Sunday night at
Smyrna.  Funeral services will be held at the Maccabee hall at Smyrna Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o’clock, with burial in the Smyrna cemetery.  The widow; one
sister, Mrs. Stephen Sparks, Grand Rapids, and a brother, Densol Purdy, of
Kibber, S.D., survive.
