Ionia Sentinel Standard
Rev A. R. Gallert of St John Lutheran church officiated at funeral services 
Tuesday at 1 pm for Elizabeth Purdy, who died Friday.  Interment was at Balcom 
cemetery.  Bearers were Robert Crosby, Jr., Joseph Crosby, Jr., Ronald, Gary and 
Gordon Crosby and Kenneth Jameson.

Following graveside services a luncheon was prepared and served to family and 
friends in the dining room of the Lutheran school by the women of the church.
