Thelma J. (Peggy) Putnam, 66, of Saranac, died May 10, 1998 at her residence. 
She was born February 9, 1932 in Lyons, Mich. the daughter of Albert and
Catherine (Johnston) Lindsey.  

She is survived by seven children, two half-brothers, two sisters, five
grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.  She was
preceded in death by one sister, and two children.  

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Lake Funeral Home in
Saranac with Rev. Jim Franks officiating.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1
p.m. on Wednesday in Saranac at Lake Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
