Mr Peabody had been in poor health for some time back but went to the field to work Monday. Feeling ill while in the field he drove his car to the house and a doctor was called. He died before the doctor arrived. A heart attack was given as the cause of death. Mr. Peabody was born in Oneida Township, Eaton County, Michigan, November 10, 1867. He was united in marriage to Miss Susie Kenyon of Sebewa. He had lived on his farm in Sebewa 68 years. He is survived by the widow, Susie; two son, Kenyon and Harold, at home; four daughters, Mrs Ella O'Neil of Saranac, Mrs Martha VanBuren of Sunfield, Mrs Sylvia Aemisegger and Miss Mary Peabody at home, and one brother, Floyd of Sebewa. The funeral was held at the home Wednesday, Rev. Thomas Thompson of Woodland officiating. Burial was in Sebewa cemetery, Jack Mapes was in charge of the funeral. -----------------------------------------------------
