Irene C. Quick, 71, of 9745 Charlotte Hwy., Portland, died April 21, 1988, at 
a Lansing hospital.  Mrs. Quick was born June 30, 1916, in London, England, 
the daughter of Frederick and Rosena Suggars.  She was retired from the 
Portland Federal Credit Union.

She is survived by one son, Christopher of Holt, and one daughter-in-law, 
Ellen of Holt.

Services were April 23 at Neller Funeral Home, Portland, with the Rev. Stanley 
Finkbeiner officiating.  Interment was in Danby Cemetery.
