The Portland Review, Thursday, October 20, 1949

James E. Quick, of East Lansing, passed away last Thursday night.  He was the 
step-father of Mrs. Nettie Wallin, of Portland; Mrs. Myrna Smith, Lake Odessa; 
and Mrs. Letha Morse, Grand Ledge.  The widow, Ella, also survives as does a 
son, William R. Quick, of Lake Lansing.  Funeral services were held Saturday 
morning at a Lansing funeral home and burial was in Lakeside cemetery, Lake 
Odessa.
