Daily Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1945

Edward J. Quick, 37, former Ionia resident died Wednesday morning in Receiving 
hospital, Detroit, following a major operation. He had been in the hospital for 
three days.

Mr. Quick was born March 3, 1907, in Ionia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin 
Quick. He had spent most of his life here until 15 years ago when he moved to 
Detroit to seek employment.

He is survived by two sisters, Miss Mildred Quick of Battle Creek and Mrs. 
Agnes Kurshner of Chicago; two brothers, Benjamin Quick, jr., of Detroit Albert 
Quick of Flint.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Myers 
funeral home. Burial will be in the family lot in Tuttle cemetery.
