The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 19, 1897
The funeral services for Miss Marguerite Quigg, at SS. Peter & Paul’s church 
on Monday, were largely attended, requiring extra seating to accommodate those 
present.  The floral offerings were numerous and of great beauty, comprising 
several from Grand Rapids friends.  All attested to the warm regard for 
deceased in a wide circle of friends.  Rev. Father Fierle preached an 
appropriate and feeling discourse.  The bearers were Frank Carten, Edw. Ney, 
Eugene Kerstetter, James Vizard, Harry McGowan and R. L. Taylor.
