Funeral services for P. B. Quinlan, who took his own life last week by 
swallowing a quantity of strychnine, were largely attended at the late home, 
west of the village, Friday afternoon.  Rev. Wm. W. Slee, of the Methodist 
church delivered a very impressive funeral sermon in which he eulogized Mr. 
Quinlan as a good citizen and a man with whom it was a pleasure to associate.  
Rev. Slee certainly spoke the truth in this regard as friends of Mr. Quinlan 
will gladly testify.  The floral tributes were abundant.  Those from a 
distance who were here for the last rites were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Merrill of 
Grand Junction, Michigan, Eugene Baldwin and Miss Grace Baldwin, of 
Cleveland , Ohio.

We desire to thank our kind neighbors and friends who assisted us in the 
burial of our beloved husband and father.  We would especially thank the 
bearers and those who sent flowers.  Mrs. Ella Quinlan.  Mr. and Mrs. S. E. 
Teeter.
