Joyce Ann Quinn went peacefully home with the Lord on June 11th 2007 after her 
4th courageous battle with cancer.

Joy was born August 5th, 1948 in Lansing to Richard and Waneta Scott. She 
graduated from Sexton High in 1966. Joy married Laurence Quinn in 1970. She 
was a Saranac School bus driver for nearly 30 years and operated a daycare for 
over 17 years. She presently worked for Wellman Chiropractor of Lowell. Joy 
truly enjoyed all her kids, co-workers and the many patients, she was also a 
big M & M and Odie fan. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of 
Saranac and the American Legion Post 175 of Saranac Ladies Aux. and Sheridan 
VFW Post 5065 Ladies Aux.

She was proceeded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband 
Larry, her children Jil (Craig) Scheurer, Leonard Quinn, Trisha (Steve) Quinn 
and Jamie (Oran) Quinn. She had 10 grandchildren, Nick, Shane, Jared, Beau & 
Victoria Scheurer, Ashton Quinn, Alex, Peabody, Drew Boren, Ariana Quinn and 
GeQuan Muhqueed and her brother Ken Scott of Perry. Her special "sis" 
Toni, "daughter" Jodi, "parents" Len & Mary Lapka and "grandma" Alice. Also 
several brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and 
nephews. Joy touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed.

Donations may be made to Ionia Hospice or Sparrow Hospice in memory of Joy 
Quinn.  Visitation will be 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m., 7 to 9 
p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home of Saranac, Thursday rosary will be at 10:30 
a.m., funeral 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Saranac.
