The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, June 4, 1917

Levi L. Race, 23 years old, died Sunday morning at 3:30 at the home of his 
grandmother, Mrs. Levi Heth of Shiloh.  He had been ill a long time with 
tuberculosis.  He leaves a father, Mancel Race, and a brother, Calvin Race of 
Grand Rapids. Funeral services Tuesday at ten o’clock at Shiloh, Rev. E. E. 
Branch officiating and interment in Orleans cemetery.
