Race, aged fifty-nine years, died suddenly on Monday evening last and was buried from the Congregational church on Friday at two o’clock, under the auspices of the I.O.O.F. Mr. Race owned and managed the cider mill at this place and was in various ways identified with Saranac businessmen. He leaves a widow and four daughters: Mrs. Hazel Greenwalt, Mrs. Ethel Dillenbeck and Miss Lila Race of Saranac and Florence Race of Grand Rapids.
