Ionia Sentinel, 2001

Carol L. Radey, 52, of Belding passed away September 10, 2001 at Spectrum 
Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.

She was born October 22, 1948 in Greenville, daughter of Stanley A. and Doris 
Lempke Robinson.

Carol graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1967, she had worked 
as a receptionist in Dr. Dolphin’s office for many years and was a member of 
Shiloh Community Church.

She was a special person who loved her husband, children and grandchildren and 
enjoyed camping.

She was married on May 20, 1967 in Belding to James Radey and he survives along 
with their children, Laura Sue (Bob) Davis of Sheridan, Chad James Radey and 
fiancé, Liezel Victor of Alma.

She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Rylee Jo and Jared Robert; her 
mother, Doris Robinson; one brother and his wife, Steven (Cheryl) Robinson; one 
sister and her husband, Sherry (Willard) Kirkendall, all of Belding.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 14 at Shiloh Community 
Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Interment will be in Rest Haven 
Memory Gardens, Belding.  Visitation will be Thursday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 
p.m. to 9 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may 
be given to the American Cancer Society.
