Hasting's Reminder - Sat. February 22, 2025

BEVERLY I. RAFFLER, age 82, of Woodland,Michigan passed away on Wednesday, 
February 12, 2025 at Harvard Pointe by Thornapple Manor after a long battle with 
kidney disease.Beverly was born n April 29, 1942 in Lake Odessa to Kenneth and 
Ivah (Bushnell)Jackson. Bev worked as secretary for Pennock Hospital on 2 
Central for many years. On June 29, 1963 she married Arnold Karl Raffler and he 
preceded her in death on March 24,2018. Bev loved to garden, growing enough food 
to can and keep her family fed. She was known as an excellent cook and baker, 
for many years she would bake extravagant multi layer cakes for family weddings. 
Bev was also a very crafty person making many gifts over the years for family 
and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by; her children:Brenda(Michael)Larabell and 
Doug Raffler, grandchildren Makayla(Matthew)Woodhead and Nicole(Josh) Glovak, 
along with many nieces and nephews.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold K.Raffler and 1 brother 
and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday February 17th, 2025 at Koop's Funeral Chapel at 
6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 18th, 2025 11:am at 
Koop's with visitation 1 hour prior.Burial will take place in Woodland Memorial 
Park,Woodland next to her husband Arnold immediate following.

Memorial donations in Bev's name can be given to the VFW Post 4461 for their 
scholarship fund.

A visitation for Beverly will be held Monday,February 17, 2025 from 6:00PM to 
8:00 PM at Koop's Funeral Chapel,935 4th Ave, Lake Odessa,Michigan 48849. A 
funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 18,2025 at 11:00 AM, 935 4th 
Ave,Lake Odessa,Michigan 48849. A burial will occur Tuesday,February 18th, 2025 
at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, 3685 Velte Rd.,Woodland,MI.
