George Allan Raimer, aged 72, a lifelong resident of rural Lowell and Saranac, 
passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and his parents, Garry and 
Marguerite (Schott) Raimer on Wednesday, June 3 at his home with his family.

He was born Dec. 26, 1936 in Keene Township. He married Patricia Potter Dec. 
22, 1956 in Boston Township. George was a member of the First Baptist Church of 
Lowell, Boston Saranac Historical Society and the WORK International Car Club.

George is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia Raimer of Lowell; 
three sons, George E. (Susan (Smith) Raimer of Saranac, Rick (Lori (Swiger) 
Raimer of Lowell and Gary (Lesa (Hazel) Raimer of Lake Odessa; 10 grandchildren 
Allan (Kara (Brown) Raimer, Tricia (Stephen) Yonker, Michael Raimer, Amanda 
Raimer, Phil Raimer, Tyler Raimer and Kaelee Raimer; 5 great-grandchildren, 
Xavier, Gibson, Zachariah, Eliot and Victoria; one brother John (Marg) Raimer 
of Saranac; 2 sisters Lois (Clinton) Sprague of Bitely and Marla (Bruce) 
Hinzman of Spring City, Tenn. and two sisters-in-law, Nancy (Potter) Porter of 
Lowell and Sally (Potter) Spens of Islamorada, Fla.

Funeral service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lowell 
with Rev. David Sims officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Lowell. The 
family will receive friends and relatives Friday 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m. at the 
church. Funeral arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. In lieu of 
flowers you make memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Lowell or 
the Boston Saranac Historical Society. Online condolences may be made at
