JACK REIMER 1927-2017
Jack Louis Reimer age 90 of Ionia, MI passed away Friday, July 28, 2017. He 
was born on March 17, 1927 in Palo, MI the son of Fred and Vera Reimer. Jack 
married Margie Cook who preceded him in death in 2012.

He served in the Navy for two years during World War II. Jack was a builder 
for many, many years, building a lot of homes in the Ionia area. He enjoyed 
wood working, mainly carving ducks and Santa's. He loved to fish, especially 
in Canada.

Jack is survived by his son, Michael Reimer of New York; Daughter, Pamela 
(Charles) Harvey of Ionia, sister, Patricia Horrocks of Lyons; grandchildren, 
Brittany Dunkel, Nicholas Dunkel, Darvy Harvey; great-grandchildren, Cole 
Dunkel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margie and sister Wilma 
Thompson.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 407 p.m. at the Lake 
Funeral Home in Ionia. Online condolences may be made at
