Eldon J. Rairigh Passes Away
Eldon J. Rairigh, 53, route one Sunfield, passed away at his home Wednesday morning
July 31 after a long illness. He was a farmer and a native of Sunfield township.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Mrs. Morgan (Marilyn) Inman of
Detroit and Mrs. Dale (Geraldine) McElhinney of Huntington Beach, Calif; two sons, Robert of
Lake Odessa and Roger with the U.S. Air Force stationed at Ft. Austin; four
grandchildren; six step children, Mrs. Madeline Newman, Walter, John and Larry Neff and Mrs. Delores 
Heacock, all of Hastings and Mrs. Lenora Yodor of Freeport; three sisters Mrs.
Clayton (Zelma) Allerding of Hastings, Mrs. Victor (Mildred) Roush and Mrs. Harold (Carol)
Fender of Detroit and five brothers Dan of Byron Center, Manam of Stockbridge, Rev. Glenn
Rairigh of Sunfield, Harold of Lake Odessa and Mearl of Vermontville.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with
burial in the Woodland Memorial cemetery.
