Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Jun 1948

Benjamin L. Raleigh, 58, died suddenly at his home at 814 East Lincoln avenue 
Thursday night.  Employed as a painter, he had lived in Ionia for the past three 
months, coming here from Holly.  He is survived by three sons, William of Fenton, 
Raymond of Jacksonville, Ill., and Ben L., Jr., of Birmingham, Iowa; a daughter, 
Mrs. Robert Farmer, of Jacksonville, Ill., and 16 grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Bradley funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be 
announced later.
