Francis E. Ralph, age 90, of Mecosta, formerly of Lyons, passed away Sept. 29, 2015,
in Ionia.  He was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Collins, Michigan, the son of Clayton and
Ether (Hagerman) Ralph.  Francis married Louella Gillett on Aug. 7, 1948, she passed
away in 2005.

He was a member and past trustee with Lyons Baptist Church, member of Chippewa Hills
Baptist Church, and a member of the Lyons Village Counsel.  Francis owned S&F Tool &
Die Shop in Lyons.  He loved to bowl, hunt, fish, and drive his speed boat.

Francis is survived by his children, Annette (Paul) Fletcher of Florida, Connie
Schmidt of Tennessee, Steven (Cathy) Ralph of Hubbardston, and Christine Ralph &
Michelle Gaut of Lake Odessa; grandchildren, Paula (Joe) McVeigh, Diane (Mike)
Sullivan, Marlene (Jeff) Brown, Cindy (Steve) Babonis, Robert (Angel) Ralph, Lisa
(Scott) Osolinski, Jacob Schmidt, Jacklyn Schmidt, Christina Schmidt, Teresa
Schmidt, Natasha Ralph, Jessica (Jeff) Schmitz, Joshua (Kellie) Ralph, and Clayton
Ralph; sister Beatrice (Eugene) Zander of Lyons; brother-in-law, Harley Gillett of
Battle Creek; and 34 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents
and wife, Louella Ralph.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, 11 a.m. at Lyons Baptist Church. 
Interment at Lyons Cemetery.  Visitation on Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia
from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  Those wishing may make contributions in Francis’s name
to the Lyons Baptist Church.
