Arturo Ponce Ramirez, 69, of Belding, died Monday evening, March 30, 2009, at
his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice.  Arturo was born Jan.
1, 1940 in Tuxpan, Nayarit, Mexico, the son of Ametito and Anna Cleate Ramirez.
 For a number of years he worked at H & W Farms in Belding.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Ricks; his children, Silvia Ramirez of
Mexico, Edward Ricks of Greenville; four grandchildren and one great-grandson. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Graveside funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at River Ridge Cemetery in
Belding.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belding.  Memorial contributions may be given to the wishes of the
family.
