She had been confined to her bed since the funeral of the youngsters and she suffered untold agony for several weeks. The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the late residence and from the Evangelical church at 2:30 o’clock, with Rev. Benjamin Mohr in charge. Interment will be made in Tuttle cemetery. Mrs. Randall had been quite ill before the time of the tragic death of her children and was convalescing when the misfortune came. The tension and suspense during the several days blasting and dragging operations of the river caused a relapse which, coupled with grief and shock, hastened her death. The two youngsters disappeared from their home on Saturday night, March 6, and a hunt was instituted. It was not until the next day that tracks were discovered by scouts at the river’s banks that led officers to believe they had ventured on the ice and it had crashed through. A corps of workmen were set to work and on the following Wednesday the bodies were taken from the stream. A double funeral was held and the brother two daughters, who live at home and sister interred together in the same casket. The mother will be buried on the family lot in Tuttle cemetery, next to the grave of her loved ones. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Agnes and Eleanor.
