Ionia Sentinel – Monday, 6 July 1925
After an illness lasting over three months Asa Randall died at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Eugene E. Smith, near Orleans, early Monday.  He leaves two 
daughters, Mrs. Arthur Rush and Mrs. Smith.  He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. 
Almon Bowerman, of this city, and Mrs. J. Kington, living near Ionia, and 
several brothers living in and near Ionia.

Mr. Randall was past 81 years of age.  He was a member of the local G. A. R. 
post, and had been a member of the Church of Christ of this city since 1897.  
The funeral will be held at the Church of Christ Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 
sun time.  Relatives are requested to meet at the home of Mrs. Smith at 1:30.
