Gary (Bud) Randall, 65, of Lyons passed away unexpectedly Feb. 16, 2002 in 
Lyons.

Bud was born April 19, 1936 in Lyons, the son of Lloyd and Audrie Randall.  He 
went on to marry Doris Cummings Oct. 16, 1954 in Lyons.  He graduated from 
Lyons High School in 1954.  He was a veteran of the Navy where he served for 
four years on the USS Randolph and USS Saritoga.  He was a member of the 
Hubbardston American Legion.  He loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Doris in Lyons; his son Lyndon (Carol) 
Randall in Muir; his beloved grandchildren, Erin and Thomas Randall; mother-in-
law, Ruth Cummings Smith of Lyons; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Randall of Florida; 
one sister, Donna Fedewa of Lyons; special brother-in-law, Phil (Jane) Cummings 
of Lansing; and two sisters-in-law, Clarice Cummings of Ionia and Nancy 
Cummings of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Benjamin Rex Randall and 
B.B. Randall; his father-in-law Robert Lloyd Cummings Sr.; and brothers-in-law, 
Robert Lloyd Cummings Jr., William S. Cummings and Clement Fedewa.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Muir with Rev. Larry Vincent officiating.  Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 
p.m. and 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home in Muir.  In lieu of 
flowers, anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Lyons Muir Fire 
Department in care of the funeral home.
