Doris A. Randall, 75, of Lyons passed away Aug. 18, 2011 in Carson City. She 
was born in Ionia, Feb. 19, 1936 the daughter of Robert Lloyd and Ruth (Foote) 
Cummings.

Doris married Gary (Bud) Randall Oct. 16, 1954 in Lyons. He preceded her in 
death in 2002. She was a 1954 graduate of Lyons High School. She worked at 
Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons as a sewing inspector and later at Electrolux 
until retiring in 1990. Doris was a member of Lyons VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She 
loved her grandchildren, old movies and old country music.

Doris is survived by her son, Lyndon (Carol) Randall of Muir; grandchildren, 
Erin Randall and her fiancé Zach Grubaugh of St. Johns and Tommy Randall and 
his special friend Lisa Dewitt of Muir; brother Phil (Jane) Cummings of 
Lansing; step sister, Alice Acorn; step brothers, Alfred Smith and Allen Smith; 
brother-in-law, Jerry Randall lf Florida; sisters-in-law, Clarice Cummings of 
Ionia, Nancy Cummings of Arkansas and Donna Fedewa of Lyons; several nieces, 
nephews and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Carl Smith; husband; 
infant son, Benjamin; two brothers and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with 
Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. Interment Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be 
2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Anyone 
wishing may make a memorial contribution in Doris’s name to Lyons-Muir Fire
