Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 May 1965

Mrs. Florence Thomas Randall, 60, of Coats Grove, Hastings, died at 6 o’clock
Monday morning at Pennock hospital after a two-year illness.  Born in Ionia
September 16, 1905, she was the daughter of Mrs. Maude Estep Kuhn and the late
Lee Thomas.  She attended Ionia schools and was married to Peter Randall of
Ionia, September 22, 1920.  Following their marriage they resided in Ionia and
tell 1936 when they moved to Coats Grove and purchased a general grocery store
which the family still operates.

Mrs. Randall is survived by her husband and one son, Bud W. Randall of Hastings;
two grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Maude Kuhn of South Ionia; a sister, Mrs.
Donald Ferguson, Sr., of Ionia; and two brothers, Steve Thomas of Muir and
Matthew of Ionia.  A son, Keith Randall, preceded her in death about two years ago.

Funeral service will be at Leonard funeral home in Hastings Wednesday at 2 p.m.,
with burial at Fuller cemetery in Hastings.
