The Rev. Elmer Ubbink officiated. Terry Wakefield, soloist, sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Lead Me Gently Home" accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Hazel Albright. Bearers were Jay DeGarmo, Tom Eckley, Lawrence Albright, Ray Dickinson, E.A. Crawford and Gerald Benjamin. Interment was at Tuttle cemetery. Attending the service from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Miller, Lowell; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Randall, Belding; Peter Randall, Coats Grove; Charles Witmar, St. Louis; Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Dalrymple and Mrs. Ella Randall, Saranac; Mrs. Mary Shriner, Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Utter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Utter and family, Mrs. George Lewis and Mrs. Donald Lewis all of Midland.
