Lonnie Gene Raney, aged 42, of Ionia, passed away Monday, October 10, 2005.  He
was born October 27, 1962 in Fresno, California the son of Orvile and Mary M.
(Manns) Raney.  He worked for Meridian in Ionia and was a member of the Local
Union #436.

He is survived by his children Tiffany Marie Raney of Ionia, Brandon Raney of
Ionia, fiancé Kandi Dewey of Ionia.  Step sons Corey Greenhoe of Ionia, Brad
Greenhoe of Lansing.  Step daughter Tiffany Bursley of Ionia.  Mother of his
children Mary Greenhoe of Lyons.  Brother Harvey Bridgeford of Lyons, one sister
Vickie and Gibson Crampton of Pewamo.  Grandson Bailey John and granddaughter
Alexis Marie.  Two nieces Misty Thompson, Teela Crampton; and nephew Ronnie
Thompson.

Funeral services for Mr. Raney will be held Friday 2 p.m. at the Lake Funeral
Home in Muir.  Interment in Lyons Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday
from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30
p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to
Lonnie’s children in his memory.
