Ann Marie Ranger age 73 of Lyons passed away February 14, 2009 in Ionia.

She was born August 20, 1935 in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Harold and Mary 
(McCarron) Burns. Ann married Howard Ranger Feb. 15, 1955; he preceded her in 
death Jan. 19, 2001. She was a life member of the Lyons V.F.W.

Ann is survived by her children Mary (Chris) White of Muir, Patricia (Charles) 
Parker of New York, Kathleen (Brent) Cross of Colorado, Daniel Ranger of New 
Jersey, Howard B. Ranger of Colorado and Margaret Swift of Portland; 9 
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother, 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Muir 
with Father Charlon Mason officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery Muir. The 
family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at the 
funeral home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Ann’s name to 
Ionia commission on Aging or American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be
