BELDING –George F. Ranney, 65, of Harlingen, Texas, formerly of Belding and 
Ionia, died Wednesday.

He was born Feb. 4, 1915, in Greenville. He was the former owner of Ranney 
Refrigerator Co. 

He is survived by his wife, Mollie; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Mulick of Ionia two 
sons, George F. Jr., of Miami, Fla., and Robert A. of Grand Rapids; two 
brothers, L.W. of Belding, and Richard of Greenville; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church 
in Belding with the Rev. Carl Hausserman officiating.

The family will greet friends and relatives at the Huffman Funeral Home from 7 
to 8:30 p.m. Monday.
