The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 5, 1957

Guy Ransford, former resident of Ionia and late of Angola, Ind., died late 
Saturday afternoon in Indiana.  His body was brought to Ionia for burial at 
Highland park cemetery.  Committal services were in charge of Ionia Masonic 
Lodge F&AM and were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

Mr. Ransford moved from Ionia to Angola after he retired.  

Bearers were Gene Clark, Jack Fox, Louis Hoopman, Charles McFaden, Glenn Piper 
and Floyd Smith.
