Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Apr 1874

Died. – In Keene, March 26, 1874, of dropsy of the Chest, following Scarlet
Fever, Arthur, eldest son of David P. and Jane Ransom, aged 9 years into 9 days.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Pinckney Cemetery.]
