Ionia County News - 16 January 1964
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Nettie Rash 74, were held Sunday at 2 pm at Shaw-
Rivet funeral home in Muir.  Mrs. Rash died January 7 at Everett Washington, 
where she had lived for the last 14 years.  She was born July 4, 1889 at Homer, 
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rusnell.  She was married to Joseph Lazarus 
who died in 1936 and 1938 she was married to Street Rash and Mr. Rash died in 
1941.  The survivors are three sons, Rex Lazaurs of Everett, Washington; 
Clifford Lazarus Sr of Route 1 Ionia; Lee Roy Lazarus of Maybee; 10 
grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  Rev. Gerald Hedlund officiated and 
burial was in Highland Park Cemetery.
