FRANK JOSEPH RASMUS, 64
8/7/1958-6/30/2018
Frank J. Rasmus, age 64, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 30,
2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Virginia.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Sherri; his son, Joe (Tara); his
grandchildren, Grayson and Lydia; his sister, Jeannie Mumy; nieces and nephews; Ronald 
Mumy, Dan Bush II, Chad Bush, Nicole Bono, Suzann Wood; and best friend, Tom Alderink.

Frank was a man of many talents and interests. He liked playing cards and golfing
with family and friends, and was also a skilled pool player. He thoroughly enjoyed
working outside in his yard  and took great pride in its appearance. Frank also was an avid
car enthusiast, especially Chevys. He would go on an annual trip to St. Ignace to attend
the classic car show, and restored many classic cars to vintage condition. The most
important thing to him, however, was family. He enjoyed getting together with loved ones, and
would help anyone that asked him.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Anthony church in Saranac on Thursday,
July 5. Public visitation begins at 10 am with the service at 11 am. and a luncheon to
follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to kindred Hospice, 625 Kenmoor 
Avenue SE #115, Grand Rapids, MI. 49546 or Ionia county Animal Shelter, 3853 Sparrow 
Drive, Ionia, MI. 48846. Arrangements entrusted to lake funeral Homes.
