Ionia County News – Thursday, 10 January 1946

Mrs. John Rasmussen died at her home in Easton at 12:40 Monday, January 7.  
She had been ill for several days.

Sylvia Snell was born in Easton in 1894, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orson 
Snell.  In 1912 she was married to John Rasmussen.  She is survived by her 
husband and two sons, Elvin at home and Harold of the U. S. Navy stationed at 
Treasure Island, Calif.

Funeral services were held at her late home in Easton at two o’clock Wednesday 
afternoon January 9.  Interment was in Easton cemetery located on her home 
farm.
