The little girl had been suffering from quinsy for about two weeks, and though not felling very strong had been up and around much of the time. Dr. McCann had lanced her throat twice, and was to come that afternoon and lance it again. The child was in the kitchen with her mother, when the abscess broke, and she was suffocated before her mother could reach her, death being almost instantaneous. The family had just bought the house of Mrs. Warn, and were getting ready to move in as soon as the two girls of the family were better. Anna, herself, was most anxious to get into the new house and could hardly wait. Mrs. Rasmussen is a widow, her husband having died about a year ago, shortly after the family moved here from Sidney Center. The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the church at Sidney Center and interment will be in the Sidney cemetery. Rev. N. Bentsen of Sidney will conduct the services. There will be short prayer service Wednesday morning at 8:30 by Rev. Branch at the Bradley mortuary for little Anna Rasmussen, before the party leaves for Sidney Center, where interment will take place.
