Lake Odessa Wave - Times - April 28, 1916
   Mr. Freeman A. Rathbun was born in Brecksville,, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, August 2,
1850, coming to 
Nashville, Michigan in 1871.  He was united in marriage to Rebecca Anne Trumpower,
July 18, 1886.  At the 
age of sixty-five he departed from this life on the morning of April 19, 1916,
leaving to mourn their loss, a wife, 
an aged father and four brothers; Geo. D. of this place, Numan C. of Williamstown,
Edward B., of Lansing and 
Alton L. of Grand Ledge.
   Those who attended the funeral services from out of town were the three brothers
of the deceased with 
their families and two brothers of Mrs. Rathbun, Samuel and Peter Trumpower from
Branch, Michigan.
