The Ionia Daily Standard, Thursday, January 16, 1902


Mr. Paris Rathbun died at his home on Plain street at noon Saturday.  Mr. 
Rathbun had been in rather feeble health for a long time but few knew him to 
be any worse than usual until Dr. Weston was called a short time before his 
death.  He was then found to be suffering from inflammation of the bowels, and 
little could be done except to alleviate the pain.
