The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 28, 1945

Mrs. Ida M. Rathburn, 81, died Saturday, May 26, at her home in Ionia, after 
several years of poor health.  She was born in Mecosta county and in 1882 was 
married to William F. Rathburn.

Surviving her besides her husband are one son, Ray Rathburn, of Ionia; two 
daughters, Pearl Black of Battle Creek and Mrs. Olin Smith of Lyons; two 
sisters, Mrs. Emma Smith of Ionia and Mrs. Eva Welch of Ionia; 14 
grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home with 
interment at Easton cemetery.
