Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Oct. 20, 1967

Goldie Marie Rathburn, 49, of Sunfield, died suddenly Thursday evening at Ionia 
County Memorial hospital.

She was born January 14, 1918 in Muir, the daughter of Harvey and Mary Jane 
Kreeby Moore, moving from Muir to Ionia when a child and attending school here.

July 28,1936, she was married to Clayton M. Rathburn in Ft. Wayne, Ind., and 
made their home in Ionia, where he was employed at Ionia Manufacturing Co.; 
moving to Sunfield two years ago.

She leaves her husband, Clayton; one son, Gerald of Lowell and two daughters, 
Mrs. Donald Fedewa of Portland, Mrs. Donald Norris of Sunfield; ten 
grandchildren, one brother Harold Moore of Lansing and two sisters, Mrs. Frank 
Hall and Mrs. George Spratto both of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 pm at Boynton funeral home with Rev. 
Chester J. Erickson officiating. Burial will be in Easton cemetery.

Family will be at the funeral home Friday evening.
