Lake Odessa Wave - March 2, 1950
          GEORGE RATHBURN, L0NGTIME RESIDENT, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY

   George Clark Rathburn died unexpectedly Monday at his farm home near here.  He
was 68 years old.

   Mr. Rathburn had lived most of his life near Lake Odessa.  He was a brick-layer
and had retired 12 years ago 
because of ill health.

   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arvin McLeod and Mrs. Joseph Majinska; one son,
Maurice ;one brother, 
Fred; and ten grandchildren, all of Lake Odessa.

   Services were held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. from the Pickens funeral chapel,
with burial in Lakeside 
cemetery.  Rev. Myron H. Dawson officiated.
