ANNA RATU
MUIR -  Mrs.Anna Ratu, 88, of rural Muir, died Thursday at her home.

She was born Aug. 3, 1893 in Rumania, the daughter of George and Eva Vasui. She came
to the U.S. in 1912 first living in Ohio and settling in the Muir area in 1913.

Her husband, Nicholas, preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Allen of rural Muir; one son, Victor Ratu of
rural Muir; one sister, Mrs.Marie Capatena of Pontiac, three grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m from the Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson
City. Burial will be in East Plains cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00  and 7:00-9:00 on friday and
until service time Saturday.
