Ionia Shopper's Guide - Sat.February 10, 2024

                                RATU

With sadness we share the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and great-
grandmother. Mary Ann (Peiffer) Ratu was born May 8, 1935 in Lansing, MI. She 
passed away on February 5, 2024 She graduated high school in 1952 from Carson 
City High School. 

She married Victor Ratu on August 2, 1952 and they enjoyed 71 years together. 
from this union two sons were born, Nicholas Russell and John Joseph. Mary Ann
worked at Chrysler in Muir, The Ionia State Hospital, starting in 1965 and the 
Department of Corrections in Ionia until her retirement in 1990.

Mary Anne is survived by her husbandVic, Sons Nicholas (Leisa) Boyne City, John 
(Ann), Carson City, and three grandsons; Jordan (Laura), Clarkston, Jonah, Holt, 
and Lucas,Grand Rapids. One great-grandson Hudson, and a great-granddaughter to 
arrive soon.She was pre-deceased by siblings Marge, Richard, Eugene, James and 
grandson Caleb John.

There will be no service,Memorial contributions may be made to the following; 
Sparrow Hospital-ER, Carson City,MI or The American heart Association.
