Belding Banner-News  Thurs. January 2, 1969

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs.Cecile I. Ravell of route 
three, Belding.

Rev. Wilford Wood officiated.Interment was in Otisco Cemetery.Pallbearers were 
Ransom Braman, Sylvester Dehn, C.Fuller Dorr, Glenn Jenks, Carroll Smith and 
Jack Newland.

Arrangements were made by Huffman Funeral Home.

Mrs.Ravell, a lifetime area resident, died in St.Mary's Hospital, Grand Rapids 
following a two-week stay.

She was born October 4, 1904 the daughter of Frank S.and Luella Smith Rowland of 
Oakfield Township.

Mrs.Ravell was married to Watkin A.Ravell of Cooks Corners April 14, 1928. 
Mr.Ravell survives.

She was a member of Congregation Church, Congregational Church Social Circle, M-
44 Club and Jolly Washington Club.

Other survivors are one daughter,Mrs.Gordon (Joanne) Dory, Portland, Oregon; one 
son Richard G., Fenwick; one sister Mrs.Gerald (Gertrude) Corter, Smyrna; three 
brothers Andrew W.of Smyrna, Harold S. of Muir, Charles E.of Belding; and five 
grandchildren.
