Jimmie Bernice Raymond, 75, of Greenville, died suddenly on Thursday, July 8, 
2004 at Spectrum Health United Memorial United Campus, Greenville.  She was 
born in Newtonville, Arkansas, on February 19, 1929, the daughter of Mike and 
Edna Robinson Johnson.  She was married on January 15, 1955 to John R. Raymond.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1988; their son, Jimmy Lee 
Raymond, in 1977; brothers, Bill, Chuck and Bob Johnson; and sisters, Shirley 
Johnson, Faye Harris and Bertha Breton.  She is survived by her daughter and 
son-in-law, Violet and Don Jones of Greenville; special nephew, Nick Johnson of 
Greenville; sisters, Rose and A.T. Moore, Betty Morris, brother, Raymond 
Johnson, all of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral and committal services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Hurst Funeral Home, 
Greenville, with the Rev. Ken Harger officiating.  Burial is in Greene 
Cemetery, Orleans.  Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
